Our goal is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for toddlers to grow and learn. Our Teachers believe in building strong relationships with the toddlers in our care. Much attention is given to bonding with the children and meeting them where they are developmentally to help them acquire new language, physical, and cognitive abilities during their time in the toddler room.

Our incredible toddler teachers work together as a team with parents to support children during a critical 15 months of physical and cognitive development. Our toddler room can support 12 children aged 18-33 months. We are staffed to ensure our toddlers are intellectually stimulated and encouraged to explore their surroundings under the watchful eye of our caring and experienced teachers. We share and celebrate these moments regularly with parents through the use of an app that delivers updates throughout the day regarding meals, diapering, and overall child temperament, as well as any illnesses or injuries that may arise. Staff posts photos of activities throughout the day as well.
Our staff believes that weaving learning experiences into everyday play interactions combined with planned intentional teaching moments allows children to grow and learn at their own pace. Through these activities, we support language development, encourage independence, and introduce cognitive skills such as color and shape recognition and beginning counting.
Our Toddler Care Program promises that children will be taken outside each day (when weather permits), as well as taking trips to our stimulating gym to develop large motor skills.
We work together with our families on toilet training when developmental markers appear in order to prepare them for preschool.
A day in our toddler room typically starts out with free play time where teachers follow the lead of the children and engage in activities the child chooses.
During meal and diapering times, teachers have intentional conversations that encourage language and cognitive development.
Every day, children experience art or sensory activities to build skills that will be useful when they move on to preschool. Much of the day is spent developing self-help skills such as cleaning up toys and taking care of their own dishes after meals. Our older toddlers focus on getting dressed skills through potty time and learning to put on their own outdoor gear.
